Welcoming Members of Parliament
Research Canada welcomed new and returning Members of Parliament with a Welcome Kit to introduce them to the health research and health innovation communities and to highlight some of the excellence in health research and health innovation being carried out by Canadian health researchers and innovators in this country. As a country, we should be proud of our scientists and the discoveries they are making everyday aimed at improving the health and quality of life of Canadians.
On March 7th, 2016 Research Canada welcomed new and returning Members of Parliament at a Reception hosted by the Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health. At this reception, Minister Philpott announced the 42nd Parliament’s new Health Research Caucus and introduce Parliamentarians to dedicated leaders in the health research and health innovation fields.
