WEBINAR: Beyond Rhetoric: Shifting from a Trust Deficit to Renewed Partnership with the Biopharmaceutical Industry
The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced Canadians’ recognition of the importance of health research and innovation to our health and economic security, but it has done little to address the elephant in the room: the trust deficit that exists between the biopharmaceutical sector and some other stakeholders within the health research and innovation ecosystem in Canada.
We must move beyond the rhetoric surrounding this trust deficit to a renewed partnership with the biopharmaceutical industry because Canadians’ health and well-being depend upon it!
That’s why Research Canada convened an Expert Advisory Panel and why we’re inviting all stakeholders across the health research and innovation ecosystem to join us for a discussion with four members of our Panel and Shift Health to learn about our recent Report. Let us seize the moment the pandemic has presented and strengthen the cross-sector partnerships that make Canadian health research and innovation happen!
