Dr. Abraham (Rami) Rudnick is a psychiatrist, a philosopher and a Canadian Certified Physician Executive. He is a Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, the Executive Vice President of Research and Development and Chief of Psychiatry at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and the Chief Scientist at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Research Institute.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Mental Health, the founder of the Canadian Unit of the International Network of a UNESCO Chair in Bioethics, a recipient of the pioneer award in recovery research granted by Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) / Readaptation Psychosociale (RPS) Canada, a recipient of the Michael Smith research award granted by the Schizophrenia Society of Canada, a Fellow of the Canadian Psychiatric Association and a Distinguished Fellow and Gold Medalist of the European Society for Person Centered Healthcare. His published leadership approach is person-centered, evidence-informed and socially responsible.
